The Cowboy Camaro

The Cowboy Camaro is a 1983 Chev Short Box 4x4

His Grill is not 1983 but Maybe a 1989 Blazer or Suburban ? ?

I have owned Him For 7 years

Paid 6G for Him and Had to Dump 3G to make him BC Compliant

which included Tires . Front . end work . Exhaust . Windshield . etc.

since then I Have Replaced the Front diff (was 272 gears) to NEW 373 Gears

and Front U-Joints

Rear Diff (same was 272 gears) to NEW 373 Gears

Next was a Brand New Transmission and The Transfer Case Rebuilt

and Next was a 350ci Create Engine

The First New Engine was Passing Coolant (3 liters ~ 1G km)

It Took My Mechanics One Month to convince the manufacture To Send out a New New Engine

Only To Have It with a Lifter Tic for The First Cold Start ov The day

(for like 10 seconds and quite loud)

The rest ov the day it was OK

My Mechanics Installed a New set ov Premium Lifters

It seems Better . The cold starts are a little noisy some times and sometimes not.

and again good the rest ov the day

The consciences is that the Lifter Bore Hole could be a Little wore out (enlarged)

Disallowing the adhesion Factor and allowing the oil to somewhat drain from the lifter and upon restarting the next day it needs to Build Up Pressure again . .

Here Is My Accolades To My Mechanics at Babes Auto

The First Install . Yes Did Cost Me Large . BUT . .

The Month ov waiting for a New Engine Had Me In a courtesy Car For FREE

The Next New Engine Install Cost Me NADA ZERO Nothing

Then The Next

Part where Babes installed a New Set ov Premium Lifters was a couple ov weeks

With Me In a Courtesy Car again and again NO COST To Me . .

and The Lifter Set and Install No Cost To Me

I Have More to do to the truck . front end stuff

and actually the front right corner does not look as good as my pics

as I Hit an Elk and need to do some body work . . but the Drive Train was Most Important First

Just an FYI

I Have about 35G into this truck

The old engine was 43 Years . . I need this truck to last me 30 years

Not a High Expectation

But . . . Then I'll be 100 yrs Old . .

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

. . . Fun Fact . . .
